The April municipal elections are just over a month away…now we’re starting to see candidates for county offices filing for the August primary ahead of the November general election. According to press releases issued on Tuesday, so far Camden County Auditor Jimmy Laughlin and Morgan County Prosecutor Dustin Dunklee have filed to run. Dunklee has served as prosecutor for seven years and is seeking his third term. Laughlin is seeking his first full term since being appointed by the Governor to fill the unexpired term of previous auditor Ronnie Capps.
