An alleged carjacker in Camden County is scheduled to return to the courtroom today. 42-year-old Pad Webster, of Camdenton, is charged with a class-A felony of first-degree kidnapping along with armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm and stealing a motor vehicle. The charges date back to early June when, authorities say, Webster forced the victim at gunpoint to drive the car. The victim was able to get out of the car when it stopped and run to safety. At the time of the alleged carjacking, Webster had also been wanted on a no-bond warrant for a probation violation. He is scheduled to be in court today for a counsel status hearing and remains in custody on a $300-thousand cash-only bond.
