The issues at Casa De Loco in Camden County continue. In June, they were accused of emptying wastewater into a nearby creek. DNR attempted to shut them down by County Commissioners allowed them to stay open. In September, Mid-County Fire Protection District suspended the businesses certificate of occupancy, citing major safety issues and most recently the Camdenton Board of Aldermen tabled the request for a liquor license. Many issues related to the deck safety have been discovered in recent years, including an incident that involved someone falling through the deck, causing Mid-County to be called for rescue. Reports also indicate that many modifications to the property have been made without the proper permits. The issues of the requested liquor license will be brought up again at the next Camdenton Board of Aldermen Meeting.
