The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks says they are now critically low on type A and O blood.

Officials say that blood is usually provided to patients in need of plasma and they supply nearly 40 area hospitals in the Ozarks, including Lake Regional.

The CBCO says these levels are “potentially dangerous” and they’re asking for anyone to donate whenever they can.

The next drive for the CBCO in our area is on the 14th of September at the Meadowview Country Market in Tunas.
