The Missouri Department of Conservation says there is a new limit on the number of deer that hunters can take during firearms season. Permits for antler less deer have now been reduced from “any number” to just one in most locations. Chronic wasting disease is the reason behind the change. Firearms season opens November 15th and runs thru the 25th. The MDC also wants hunters to be alert to sinkholes as a Pulaski county man died last year after falling into sinkhole while tracking a deer.
