Two Chicago men accused in the Miller County death of a California resident are scheduled for court appearances this week. Joseph McKenna and Tyler Kroll both face first-degree murder charges for the alleged shooting death of Tyler Worthington near Tuscumbia. McKenna also faces charges of armed criminal action and tampering with a witness. In a separate case, he’s charged with trying to escape the Miller County Jail. A preliminary hearing on the charges related to the killing has been moved to February, but he’ll be arraigned Monday on the escape charge. Kroll has a case review set for Wednesday.
