A hotline call to the Children’s Division is being given credit for leading to the arrest of a Camdenton woman on Class-B Felony Count of Abuse or Neglect of a Child involving Serious Emotional or Physical Injury. That’s according to a probable cause statement filed in the Camden County Courthouse alleging that 28-year-old Jaimie Rose neglected her three-month-old son to the point of malnourishment and emaciation. Rose eventually agreed to meet up with an officer at a local auto parts store and was taken into custody then transported to the Camden County Jail. The infant was taken to Lake Regional Hospital before apparently being transferred to an unnamed hospital for treatment of what’s described as life-threatening conditions. Rose, the mother, is being held on no bond.
