UPDATED: The jury trials for, both, Wyche and Duhn were strickened and continued at the request of the defense. The new trial date for Wyche is now set for March 30th, 2020, while Duhn will, apparently, avoid a jury trial with a plea hearing now set for January 27, 2020.
ORIGINAL STORY: A couple jury trials are scheduled to begin Monday in Morgan County for child abuse and neglect suspects Troy Wyche and Skylar Duhn, of Barnett. The 26-year-old Wyche faces two felony counts of abuse or neglect while the 23-year-old Duhn is charged with one count each of abuse or neglect and endangering the welfare of a child. The charges date back to incidents in January of this year. Wyche, who also faces similar charges involving the same child in Miller County, went on the run and was captured during a standoff at the Osage Ridge Apartments in Osage Beach. A pre-trial conference for the Miller County case is scheduled for January 14th with the trial scheduled to, tentatively, begin on the final day of August in 2020.
