Child Recovering Following Accident In Miller County

A child is recovering after being hit by a pickup truck.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says the child was hit on Westbound 42 near Pearl Street in Miller County.

Investigators say the girl ran into the street just as a Ford Ranger pickup was passing by.

She was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.
