Children Perish In Mobile Home Fire

A mobile home fire in Pulaski county has claimed the lives of two children. According to reports, the fire occurred late Thursday night on Samson road just off highway 17 near Laquey. When firefighters arrived on scene they found the mobile home fully engulfed in flames. Apparently seven people lived in the home some of which were taken to area hospitals for treatment. The names and ages of the children who died in the fire are not being released at this time and the cause remains under investigation.
