Missouri and the People’s Republic of China have a new $4.4 billion dollar trade deal. $1.2 billion dollars in agricultural exports will go to Chinese agricultural producers and $3.2 billion dollars in agricultural exports will go to Chinese manufacturers in the deal announced yesterday.
Governor Jay Nixon is spending the week in China promoting Missouri exports to the nation. Representatives from the Missouri Corn Growers Association, Missouri Pork Association, Missouri Soybean Association, and Missouri Beef Industry Council are traveling with the governor this week.
