An appointment from Governor Jay Nixon lands a local lawyer on a state crime lab commission. Timothy Cisar has been appointed to the Crime Laboratory Review Commission. The commission reviews operations of crime labs in the state that receive state dollars to do their work. Cisar has had a private law practice since 1983 and was president of the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers from 2004 to 2005. The Lake Ozark man’s term will end April 1st of 2013.
