The University of Missouri is asking for volunteers to help sample lake and stream sites in the area, so researchers can get a snapshot of water quality all over the state. They’re asking for citizen scientists to collect water samples and data. Participants have to take a 20 minute training session. The first is today, between three and seven, at the Bennett Springs State Park Lodge in Lebanon. There will be another opportunity tomorrow, between three and seven, in the M-D-C Office in Camdenton.
