We told you that a circuit court judge struck down Amendment 1, also known as “Clean Missouri,” from appearing on the November ballot. The ruling determined that the issue contained too many topics. Organizers of the movement have appealed, arguing that everything within the ballot initiative concerns one topic – the operation of the state legislature.
That’s Ben Singer, Communications Director for Clean Missouri. He says the courts should follow precedent and allow the measure to go before the voters.
The case will be heard by an appellate court in Kansas City Thursday afternoon.
