The results of the recent “Click It or Ticket” campaign conducted by the Highway Patrol’s Troop F, which includes the Lake area, have been released. During the two-week long enforcement effort, troopers stopped 328 vehicles and issued 105 citations for seat belt violations. Dozens of tickets were also issued for license, child restraint, speeding and insurance violations; and there were eight arrests for misdemeanor warrant and drug offenses.
The Highway Patrol has also released the results of a DWI saturation patrol in Miller County on Saturday. 32 cars were stopped and three drivers were arrested for driving while intoxicated. Troopers also made five arrests for misdemeanor warrant and drug offenses and one person was arrested arrested for a felony warrant violation.
