Voters in the Climax Springs School District reject a tax levy increase that would have been used for a new school building. In yesterday’s special election the unoffical tally has 842 voters against the $0.94 cent tax levy increase, 329 voters in favor. Voter turnout for the school district was put at about 60%. Climax Springs School District residents rejected a bond issue to build a new building back in April of this year.
