The code red alert for all blood types has dropped to a code yellow alert thanks to community support. The community blood center of the Ozarks issued a code red alert last week after all blood types fell below less than a two day supply. Donors responded in record time to help. Most of the donations given last week have already been distributed the thirty-eight hospitals they serve, and many have already saved lives. The cbco is still asking for eligible donors to give this week in order to get all blood types to a three-day level. Eligible donors must be at least sixteen years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. To locate a drive near you go to cbco.org.
