Cole Camp Police Chief Resigns After Taking The Job Earlier This Year

The city of Cole Camp is now short a police chief.

According to the Board of Alderman, Chief Phil Robinette has resigned as of December 30^th.

That would leave the city with only 1 reserve officer at this time.

Officials say they have hired another officer, Josh Sargent, who’s expected to move to Cole Camp in the coming days.

The board plans to review previous applications for Police Chief prior to Robinette’s hiring for the next meeting.

Robinette was hired back in February 2020.
