The City of Cole Camp is going to be looking into a new task force which could help with funding for equipment not currently available because of lack of funds. At their last meeting, city officials met with the Missouri Department of Transportation. The task force would have several responsibilities, once of which is reducing impaired driving and the funds come from the state. Other items on the agenda included approving the $19,126 contract with Mike Keith Insurance for the 2015 year. An ordinance was also approved that places a stop sign at Oak and Eickhoff streets. The board is also looking into adding downtown business district signage there as well to help funnel traffic into the city. City Clerk Eckhoff did report that 2014 general revenue income was 10% above projections and the expenses for the city were 9% below what they expected.
