The former director of Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment, a domestic violence shelter in Lebanon, pled guilty to embezzling over 30-thousand-dollars from the shelter. 64-year-old Mary Young of Estes Park, Colorado waived her right to a trial and pled guilty on Thursday (28) to credit card fraud in connection with the shelter. Young admitted that she spent more than 25-thousand-dollars for numerous personal purchases using one of the credit cards, and more than 58-hundred-dollars using the second credit card.
