A Columbia man is facing several charges after a traffic stop by the Missouri Highway Patrol. On Tuesday afternoon, a trooper pulled over 37-year old Darrick Higgs in Miller County. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found in the vehicle. Higgs is charged with possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, possession of an imitation controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, speeding, and no insurance. He was taken to the Miller County Jail.
