The future of three state parks is currently being debated, and now the public will have more time to weigh in. The Missouri State Parks division is accepting public comments on what should happen with Ozark Mountain, Bryant Creek, and Jay Nixon state parks. All of the properties are currently closed and have never been developed. Public meetings have been scheduled for each individual park. In addition, the public comment period has now been extended. Originally scheduled to end next Monday, the deadline has now been moved to January 5th. You can submit comments through an online survey at www.mostateparks.com.
