Even though Summer is winding down there is always the need for blood donors. Community Blood Center of the Lake area is always welcoming new donors. Currently there is less than a two supply of blood available for 38 area hospitals. If you have not donated before it’s rather simple,fast and rewarding. Pilgrim is reminding everyone that giving can not only be rewarding but fun. Right now anyone who donates at a blood center or a mobile blood drive the 23rd thru the 29th of this month is automatically entered into a drawing to win Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Rams football tickets.
