Aldermen in the city of Camdenton will get a chance to see schematic drawings of their proposed new community center when they meet Tuesday. SFS Architecture will have representatives at the meeting to present the drawings to the board. The board has also reviewed the latest report on anticipated operational costs for the venue. If they’re comfortable with that report, as well as the schematic design, they’ll be asked at the next meeting to approve moving forward with the design development phase for the project. At Tuesday’s meeting the board will also vote on a repeal of an ordinance opting out of the back-to-school sales tax holiday. That would mean they would join Osage Beach in deciding to participate in the program and allow shoppers to save some money during the first weekend of August. Tuesday’s meeting begins at 6pm in Camdenton City Hall.
