Plans are taking shape for the new community center in Camdenton. The Board of Aldermen has approved a contract with an architectural firm for design services on the new building, and the first meeting of the Community Center Advisory Board is scheduled for December 11th at 5pm. At that meeting, the board members will get a look at other similar facilities during a scheduled slide show presentation. The Board of Aldermen is also expected to review a report on a proposed multi-field soccer complex in the lake area later this month. Those items are both included in the City Administrator’s report that will be presented at this week’s board meeting scheduled for Tuesday night at 6pm.
