Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Rise, Again, in Camden County

The number of COVID-19 cases in Camden County has jumped, again. Bee Dampier, with the county health department, now reports there are 19 confirmed cases in Camden County, up front 14 on Tuesday. To date, there has also been one death in Camden County. Elsewhere around the lake area, Benton County remained at three confirmed cases, Morgan County has one case and there have been no reported cases in Miller County. As of 2:00pm on Thursday (April 2, 2020), the state department of health reports 1,834 cases with 19 deaths. 67 of the cases are travel-related, 58 are contact-related, nine cases report no known contact and 1,709 cases are under investigation. A total of 935 females have been diagnosed with COVID-19 with 872 men positively diagnosed.
