Construction Work To Begin For New 54 Interchange On Monday

Construction work is about to get underway for the new Highway 54 and the Business 54/Highway W interchange….

MoDOT says motorists will begin to see single lane closures as early as next week.

Crews are expected to begin making the necessary utility changes which will require closures along Wilmore Lane and Union Electric Road first.

The lane closures will take place Monday from 7AM to 5PM with flaggers guiding traffic…

The overall project, including two new bridges and three roundabouts, is expected to be finished by December 2021.
