The Coronavirus Task force in Washington DC is sounding an alarm to Missouri officials.
In a report submitted on August 30th, they say Missouri is being “strongly urged” to closed down bars and night clubs and require masks, in order to curb the rapidly rising cases of COVID 19.
Numbers in college towns continue to be the highest and the task force suggests those areas need a comprehensive plan to test students on a routine basis.
Governor Mike Parson has constantly resisted the calls for any statewide mandates, saying the decision should be left to local officials and the people who know how to govern themselves appropriately.
