A lawsuit has been filed against Camden County due to alleged violations of the Missouri Sunshine Law. The suit was filed by Leslie Chamberlin and Theresa Townsend, representing Citizens for a Better Camden County. The suit alleges that both requested emails from Presiding Commissioner Greg Hasty and First District Commissioner Bev Thomas for 2015 in November. After several back and forth emails, the county on November 30th responded back saying their request would be finished by December 15th 2015, but at a cost of around 416-dollars.
