A court date has now been scheduled for a former Lake Area law enforcement officer brought up, last year, on sex-related charges involving two female minors. 39-year-old Leonard Jerome Wilson, who had worked for the Camdenton Police Department and Camden County Sheriff’s Department, is now scheduled to appear in circuit court on August 13th. Wilson is charged in one case with two felony counts of statutory sodomy and one count of child molestation, and in a second case on one count each of possessing child porn, furnishing porn or attempting to furnish porn to a minor, child molestation and stalking. Presiding over the Camden County cases is the Honorable David Harrison Miller. Wilson also faces a similar charge in federal court and has been held without bond since his arrest in South Carolina.
