COVID-19 Update (Statewide)

A jump in the number of COVID-19 cases, statewide, is being reported by the department of health. Figures released on Tuesday now identify 1,327 confirmed cases…up by 296 over the past 24 hours. The health department also says another death was reported in St. Louis County bringing the statewide total up to 14. Women continue to outpace the men contracting the virus with 686 cases compared to 623 for the men and 18 cases unknown at this time. Here in the lake area, Camden County is now up to 14 cases from 11 just a day ago while Benton county added one more case now with three and Morgan County holding at one. Miller County has yet to report any confirmed cases.
