A Camden County resident and Crocker High School soccer coach will be tried for alleged sexual misconduct with a student in Texas County. Kevin S. Zimmerman filed for a change of venue during his trial on December 23rd to Texas County from Pulaski County. Zimmerman faces allegations of sexual misconduct involving a student while he was employed as a teacher and soccer coach in Crocker. During an investigation in October, Zimmerman admitted to being in a relationship with the student while being employed with the Crocker school district. If convicted Zimmerman could face up to 12 years in prison. A pretrial conference is scheduled for March 4th at 9a.m. And jury trial is set for March 20th at 8:30p.m.
