All of the floodgates at Bagnell Dam have now been closed as Lake levels are now back in the normal range. The current Lake level is 659.2 feet. Full pool is 660 feet. River level is 566.8. The cubic feet per second discharge is 34,477. Ameren Missouri’s Alan Sullivan also reports Truman Dam will begin releasing water at 11 o’clock this morning and will be at 30,000 cfs by Sunday. Sullivan says the Missouri Corps of Engineers has been a big help in assisting them with the recent flooding.
One road remains closed in the area due to the recent flooding. Route “BB” in Camden County remains closed in both directions. According to Modot, at least 49 roads in central Missouri remain closed due to flooding and more than 200 are still closed statewide.
