The leader of the Lake of the Ozark’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau is heading to Arkansas for a new job.
According to reports, Tim Jacobsen has officially resigned from his post as Executive Director at the CVB.
Jacobsen was chosen out of three contenders as the next Fort Smith Advertising and Promotion Commission Executive Director.
He led the CVB for the past 15 years, overseeing the area’s marketing and economic developments in concert with the Tri-County lodging association.
Jacobsen’s replacement has not yet been named.
