Death Sentence Upheld in 2009 Triple Murder

A death sentence for a man convicted of murdering three area residents in 2009 has been upheld by the Missouri Supreme Court. On Tuesday (15), the court rejected appeals by Robert Blurton to have his conviction overturned. Blurton was sentenced to death for killing his aunt and uncle, Donnie and Sharon Luetjen (Loo-Chen) and their 15 year old granddaughter, Taron Luetjen at the couple’s home in Cole Camp during a robbery.
