After being discussed at a few meetings, deer hunting is now legal in the city of Lake Ozark. The Board of Alderman passed an ordinance last night to amend the city code that establishes a deer control policy and deer hunting regulations within the city limits. Deer hunting will only be allowed during the state’s archery season. Only bow hunting will be allowed; hunting with firearms and crossbows will not be allowed. The measure passed by a vote of five to nothing.
