Lake area passengers flying out of Springfield Branson Airport on Delta need to be aware of their strict mask rules.

The company has recently added 100 flyers to the “no fly list” after they refused to follow their rules, which require that all passengers wear a mask while on the flight.

Airline officials say those who qualify to fly without a mask must first conduct a “virtual consultation” facilitated by a Delta agent with a third-party medical professional, which could take up to an hour or more.

Lawyers with the Federal Aviation Administration tell KRMS News that airlines are in their right to make such a rule, as they are a private entity.
