Grand Glaize Beach in Lake of the Ozarks State Park remained closed for a third weekend. The Department of Natural Resources will take water samples today. The DNR’s Renee Bungart said last week that the decision to close a beach is made based on the average of tests. Levels were acceptable, last Monday, but not when added to levels of previous weeks. She felt if the levels are low again today, though, the average will allow the Department to open the beach in time for the 4th of July Weekend. Results will be available, later in the week.
