Several deputies have been placed on administrative leave in Camden County after the death of a Neelyville man on Tuesday morning. The Lake Sun reports that an unknown number of deputies were suspended while the Missouri State Highway Patrol investigates the circumstances in the death of 46-year old Glenn Norman. Norman forced his way into a home on Teer Road in Linn Creek early Tuesday, leaving the house after a struggle with the homeowner and before deputies arrived on scene. The sheriff’s department says when deputies arrived, the Neelyville man resisted arrest and was tasered, which led to respiratory arrest and his eventual death. Results of an autopsy have not been released to the public.
