DESE Is Working On Ways To Reduce Quarantine Restrictions For Students

The state of Missouri is now trying to reduce the number of students in quarantine in the Lake Area during the COVID-10 pandemic.

DESE is concerned about how all kids are handling distance learning models.

To reduce the number of kids in quarantine after having had close contact with another child testing positive for COVID-19, a mask will be worn so the child showing no symptoms can stay in school.

Vandeven also says families are having a hard time managing their lives while kids are home from school during quarantine.
