State health officials are looking for partners to help feed needy kids this summer. The Summer Food Service Program is administered by the Department of Health and Senior Services and is funded federally. It provides food for kids who may not have access to meals when school is not in session. The DHHS is looking for eligible businesses or agencies to help distribute the meals. Qualifying organizations include: schools, faith-based groups, camps, private non-profits, and local governments. Applications will be accepted March 1st through May 15th.
