A Barnett man accused in two separate cases involving the safety and welfare of a child could have both of those cases resolved soon. Troy Wyche was charged in Morgan County earlier this year with three counts of abuse or neglect of a child, including one count involving serious physical injury. The child suffered third-degree burns and multiple other injuries while in Wyche’s care. At the time, Wyche was under court order not to be around the child as a result of a previous case of abuse or neglect in Miller County dating back to 2018 involving the same boy. There’s a disposition hearing on the more recent case scheduled for June 12th. In the 2018 case, there’s a preliminary hearing set for July 28th.
