Many believe a meeting with the Department of Natural Resources earlier this week has caused more questions instead of provided answers. The meeting was to discuss TCE contamination caused by what used to be Modine Manufacturing. The testing was conducted by CH2M Hill. They had a representative present, however that representative would not answer questions about the data gathered during that testing. A representative from DNR also declined, saying they had just received the data and hadn’t looked at it in detail yet. Essentially, the meeting was for the public to see the data results and come to their own conclusions, which caused many citizens to become angry. DNR and CH2M Hill said any other questions would be answered through their communications department.
