The longest continuously running annual festival in the Lake of the Ozarks area is underway in Camdenton. The 63rd annual Dogwood Festival features food, rides, and entertainment. There’s a carnival, live music, arts, crafts, beauty pageants, a hog roast, a fish fry, a parade and more. Camdenton-Area Chamber of Commerce officials expect as many a 12,000 people to turn out for the various events this weekend. The Dogwood Parade will wind its way through downtown Camdenton starting ay 10 a.m. on Saturday. Just-retired Camdenton Mayor Dennis North is Grand Marshal of this year’s Dogwood Festival.
