A possible “domestic situation” comes to an end in Lake Ozark with the arrest of a 48-year-old man who now faces a child abuse charge.

Police Chief Gary Launderville says officers responded to the location on South Fish Haven Road and, upon arrival, confronted John Karcher who appeared to be upset.

It was also determined that Karcher had, allegedly, caused minor injuries to a 10-year-old by throwing the youngster down a flight of stairs.

Karcher was taken to the Miller County Jail on a $25-thousand.
