The double murder trial of a Camdenton area man accused of killing a mother and daughter after an apparent longtime dispute over sexual orientation will not go on as planned. Steven Ray Endsley is charged with two counts each of first-degree murder and armed criminal action along with one count each of burglary and arson. The charges date back to August of 2016. The trial for Endsley, who has been held without bond since the alleged murders, had been scheduled to begin today (Monday) but was continued for, at least, the 5th time. The trial is being heard in Laclede County on a change of venue from Camden County and is now scheduled to begin May 7th.
