The Dairy Queen in Camdenton is one of 395 DQ stores nationwide that have seen its payment systems compromised by hackers. Officials say hackers may have gained access to customer names, credit and debit card numbers along with expiration dates. The data breach apparently occurred between August and September. Dairy Queen is working with authorities and credit card companies in the investigation. Sources say there is no evidence social security numbers, personal identification numbers or email addresses were accessed. The company which is based out of Edina, Minnesota is offering customers free identity repair services.
