The Missouri Department of Revenue giving residents a break in the midst of the coronavirus.
Per the request of the Governor, the DOR is extending the renewal dates up to two months for drivers’ licenses and license plates.
It also extends the deadline for vehicle safety inspections for another 60 days.
While extensions for driver licenses, non-driver licenses and noncommercial instruction permits will be granted for those with expiration dates set between March 1 and April 30, the order does not waive the mandatory retesting requirement for people who have allowed their license to expire for more than 184 days.
