The Osage Beach Department of Public Safety, Project Healthy Living and the Osage School District will be joining together, next month, in an effort to collect unwanted and/or expired prescription and non-prescription medications. It’s part of the National Drug Take Back effort which is on the calendar for April 28th. The goal of the program is to take potentially addictive drugs and dispose of them properly which, in turn, could prevent accidental or intentional misuse. Liquids, needles, sharps and aerosol containers will not be accepted. The service is being provided free and anonymous with no questions asked and no investigations conducted. The take back will run from 10am-2pm April 28th on the parking lot of School of the Osage Middle School.
