Eagle Days Attracts Over 2,000 Visitors

Eagle Days drew over 2000 people to four locations around the lake this past weekend. In fact, 2700 people enjoyed the presentations over the course of the two-day event. Shows were put on by the World Bird Sanctuary at Osage National and the Dickerson Park Zoo at Heritage Elementary. Master Naturalists were also involved at Willmore Lodge and the Bagnell Dam access point. Prior to last weekend’s official activities, there were also 15 presentations made to students in area schools leading up to the event. Next year’s Eagle Days will be held January 9th and 10th.
